8/31 西村彗星观测记录 C/2023 P1 (Nishimura)

西村彗星集业余发现、亮度爆发、亮彗星于一体,并且成功收获了互联网的关注流量,但其观测期也是转瞬即逝,可谓来也匆匆、去也匆匆。目前依旧在朝着近日点进发,亮度升高,并且爆了长尾,观测高度也在下行,因此抓住一次难得的天气窗口就上阵了。

环境:波特尔4级,极限星等6.1-6.5,农历十六,满月,AOD0.45-0.5,视宁度指数2,1。

虽然是满月,但是在相反方位,且已被建筑物阻挡,问题不大。
4点10分起床,从北河三向下,提前使用DOB 8 通过星跳法,定位到30 Cnc和32 Cnc,开始观测。

4点45开始定位到位置看,透明度不好,侧视隐约可见。
5点04再看,直视可见,彗头相对聚集,亮度比靠近的恒星稍亮,右边有三颗定位恒星。(星链过境)
5点15分清晰可见,目测亮度比右边两颗亮的定位星稍暗,比靠近的恒星亮,彗头聚集度很高,就像一个很遥远的球状星团,但是不是均匀的,而是稍扁,显不规则,未见彗尾(忽略已知方向时)。
5点22分接近晨光,依然清晰可见。
5点45分隐隐约约不可见,46分已然消失,此时太阳高度角-8°。

小白问一下彗星在哪个方向啊,高度角有多大?? 西边有一座山不知道会不会被挡到

在日出之前,在没有光害的晴朗天空朝东北方向看金星的左方,可以看得最清楚。
